About this project and engagement

A single, automated, public toilet facility has been recommended for construction on Sam Johnson Reserve to service the local sporting communities and visitors to the dog park and reserve. The facility is intended for installation at the northern end of Sam Johnson Reserve, along the pedestrian path that links the car park, dog park, soccer oval and playground.

This fully automated facility will provide a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for users. With vandal resistant fixtures and surfaces, automated daily locking and unlocking, and access facilities for people with disabilities, automated amenities are one of the best and secure options for public facilities.

We are inviting the local community and reserve users to indicate their desire for a secure, public toilet facility at Sam Johnson Reserve, and to share any comments about what a public facility in the proposed location of the reserve might mean to you.
