Outcome of Consultation & Council Report

5 June 2022

We would like to thank all those who provided a written submission in response to the consultation for the proposed inclusion of Rosetta Street in the existing Kilkenny/West Croydon & Croydon 40km/h area speed limit.

We received 57 written submissions from the 3576 sent to property owners and residents within the consultation catchment. Of those that responded, 29 (53%) did not support the proposal and 26 respondents (47%) supported the proposal, with 2% did not say either way.

Where to from here

A report will be presented to the Asset Management Committee on 20 June which will include consultation outcomes and a recommendation.

The elected members of the Asset Management Committee will then decide as to whether to proceed with the proposal to change the speed limit on Rosetta Street. The report will be available to the public from Thursday 16 June on our website at https://www.charlessturt.sa.gov.au/council/council-documents/agendas-and-minutes

The decision made at this meeting will then be considered for resolution by the full Council on Monday 27 June.

If you would like to speak to the Committee or Council at one or both meetings, please visit our website and fill out a Deputation Request. If you would like assistance with this process, please call our Governance Team on 8408 1120.
