Following Council’s endorsement of the Kilkenny Mixed Use (Residential and Commercial) Development Plan Amendment (DPA) on 27 April 2021, we wish to advise that Council has received correspondence from the Government that the DPA is intended to be approved by the delegate for the Minister for Planning following agreement by the landowner to enter into a Land Management Agreement over the land to prevent development over four building levels across the affected area.

Once this process is finalised the Minister’s delegate will adopt the DPA which will conclude the DPA process.

Following the pending approval of the DPA by the Minister, the DPA will also be reviewed by the Environment, Resources and Development Committee of the SA Parliament.
