In May 2023, we advised residents in Grange of the proposed intersection upgrade at Charles Sturt Avenue & Terminus Street, which forms part of the Grange Greenway project. At the time we did not have sufficient funding to complete this intersection.

Funding was then reconsidered and approved in the 2023/24 Council budget to construct the raised intersection at this location in 2024.

The scope of works will include:

• Installation of new raised intersection at Charles Sturt Avenue / Terminus Street
• New linemarking on all approaches
• New public lighting along Terminus Street

As mentioned previously the section of the Grange Greenway on Terminus Street between Charles Sturt Avenue and the Coast Park Path will be improved in future projects, in coordination with the State Government who have care and control of Military Road.

Road Closure

A full road closure will be in place at the railway line for the duration of construction. We ask that local residents follow the traffic management signs on site.

The project will be undertaken by our appointed contractor Gilli. A separate notification including what to expect and timing, will be delivered to those in the catchment area.
